Investors in People                                                          Investors in People

Systematic have always placed great emphasis on developing, training and supporting EVERYONE at the company Systematic have always placed great emphasis on developing, training and supporting EVERYONE at the company, no matter what their role. We have been rewarded with loyalty from our team, who have professionalism, experience and talent.

In 2003 we put our efforts to the test, and were delighted to be approved for Investor in People accreditation. Even more pleasing was the tone of the report, which concluded

"I have rarely seen an organisation that embraces the spirit of Investors in People more naturally or genuinely".

During March 2006, we were re-assessed, with the following conclusion.

“There is an almost tangible atmosphere of enjoyment and enthusiasm at the company and staff I spoke to were keen, motivated and proud to work for Systematic. There are a plethora of examples of good practice in relation to investing in people… The company continue to operate in a way that is a credit to the Investors in People standard.”

During March 2009, we were re-assessed, with the following conclusion.

“This was an exceptionally positive review against the Investors in People Standard for Systematic and I was impressed with the level of dedication shown by all to colleagues, the company and clients... All this, of course, would not be there without excellent direction from the top and a genuine commitment to provide appropriate learning and development opportunities to enable staff to succeed. I therefore have no hesitation in confirming that Systematic Print Management Ltd continues to meet the Investors in People Standard and I wish you every success for the future, it is very well deserved.”

Report Extracts

COMMITMENT

Two particular comments within their Business Plan summarise the company's strategies in relation to investing in their staff in an equal and responsible way:

1. Work as the 'Systematic Team', valuing everyone's contribution and supporting each other

2. Motivate and train everyone to achieve their full potential.

These words translate very effectively into action at Systematic and employees were, without exception, full of praise for the commitment shown to their development.

Staff repeatedly described a close, "family" atmosphere where mutual respect and support is a natural feature. Everyone interviewed confirmed that they are treated with equal respect, trust and importance regardless of their role, gender, age, hours of work or any other consideration.

SUMMARY

Commitment to investing in their people is exemplary and a vast amount of development activity is undertaken as a matter of course at Systematic. Whilst there is undoubtedly room to develop and add useful structure to their processes and approaches (and thus strengthen the effectiveness of Planning and Evaluation) I have rarely seen an organisation that embraces the spirit of Investors in People more naturally or genuinely.
